ABOUT THE STAPLETON COMPANION
New for 2022, The “Stapleton” Companion show, fronted by Darren Hodson (better known as The Southern Companion) with his all star band are back with a heartfelt tribute to none other than Mr Chris Stapleton, a headline set of his hits & album cuts, a must see show for any fan of the biggest name in Country.
“I’ve been a big Stapleton fan from the very beginning, for me he was the artist I’d been waiting for to make an impact, killer voice, great songs and just a back to basics approach where it’s simply about the connection between the artist & the listener.
After the last couple of years, more than anything me & the boys have missed playing live, to crowded rooms full of people having a good time. We all come from a live / session touring background and we’re craving that connection with the audience.
Rather than bring out a new Southern Companion record and start over, building it from the ground up we thought let’s just play some great music that we love and hopefully give people an unforgettable night out full of songs they know & can sing along to, god only knows we all deserve it now more than ever” – Darren
